One Golem belonging to MrYu of Dracarys. was overwhelmed in an encounter that involved 22 pilots and immediately turned into a high-value loss for the defenders. The ship’s destruction accounted for nearly the entire 1.5 billion ISK total, making it the clear focus of the engagement.
THE PRESSURE
The attackers were identified as The Initiative., with 20 pilots credited around the loss, while an additional Unaligned attackers entry suggests the engagement may have drawn in other parties as well. The Golem did not survive the pressure long enough to escape, and the wreckage left behind shows just how quickly a Marauder can become an expensive liability when caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
THE BREAK
Eric3151, flying an Exequror Navy Issue for The Initiative., landed the final blow after the target had already taken heavy damage from a spread of attackers. Among the more telling losses were large numbers of Mjolnir Rage and Javelin Torpedoes, hinting that the Golem had been loaded for serious fighting rather than quiet travel. That only made the destruction more painful when the ship went down before those weapons could matter.
WHY IT MATTERS
With 1.4 billion ISK destroyed and only 113.2 million ISK recovered from the field, the engagement was an expensive setback for Dracarys. and a clean prize for the attackers. Even as a single-ship loss, a dead Golem is a reminder that expensive hulls remain vulnerable whenever they are isolated, and in VQE-CN that vulnerability was converted into a very costly result.
