The fight in 3OP-3E was over almost as soon as it began. One Dracarys. pilot, Brilliant Bruce of KuangYe Pirate, lost a Golem in a one-on-one engagement against an unaligned attacker. With only two participants recorded, the encounter appears to have been a sharp interception rather than a drawn-out battle, and the target was caught far from any meaningful support.
THE LOSS
The destroyed ship was no ordinary prize. A Golem is a high-value Marauder, and its destruction in a local skirmish always carries weight. The loss totaled 1.5 billion ISK, while just 56.6 million ISK in items escaped the blast. The wreck also tells the story of the fight itself: thousands of Mjolnir Rage and Javelin torpedoes were destroyed along with the ship, suggesting the Golem had been fully committed when the attack landed.
THE FINAL BLOW
The killing blow came from an attacker identified only as Unknown attacker, flying a Corpus Pope and representing Unaligned attackers. That single ship was responsible for the destruction, dealing 81,626 damage and ending the exchange before it could develop into anything larger. In a fight this small, there is nowhere for a flagship to hide once it has been pinned down.
THE CONSEQUENCE
For Dracarys., the loss is less about numbers than about exposure. A Golem in hostile space is an expensive piece of force projection, and losing one in a quick local engagement can be felt well beyond the immediate value of the wreck. For the attackers, the result was a clean and efficient prize — the kind of fast strike that reminds New Eden how quickly a valuable hull can disappear when timing slips.
