THE CATCH

The target was Paul Epic’s Gila of ANGELGARD., a valuable cruiser-class prize that appears to have been isolated in N-8YET when LowSechnaya Sholupen moved in. Eight participants were involved overall, but the pressure seems to have come from a compact group of five attackers directly on the kill, led by a Proteus flown by Avtorklif.

The attacking group brought a mixed toolset to the engagement, with Proteus hulls, a Widow, a Redeemer, and an Arazu all appearing on the field. Avtorklif’s Proteus delivered the final blow, while NARkOMANIHE Charante’s Widow and Who’s Champ’s Proteus contributed substantial damage, suggesting the Gila was pinned down and worn through before it could escape the net.

THE LOSSES

The destruction of the Gila accounted for 571.5 million ISK in destroyed assets, while 1.7 billion ISK reportedly survived the explosion as drops.
