Follow-Up Strike Cuts Down Another Tengu in Y6-HPG

A second Tengu was brought down in Y6-HPG only minutes after the earlier hunt in the same system, suggesting the fighting there had not gone cold. This time the loss fell to Michael Landing of Fraternity., whose strategic cruiser was destroyed in a 1.1 billion ISK strike by an unidentified attacker flying a Pithatis Death Dealer.

THE CONTINUED HUNT

The renewed clash in Y6-HPG did not unfold like a sprawling fleet battle. It was a sharp, localised kill with only two participants involved, but the timing gives it weight: this was a follow-up strike after an earlier Tengu had already been cut down in the system. That repetition suggests the hunters still had eyes on traffic, or that Fraternity. was moving assets through dangerous space under pressure.

THE CATCH

Michael Landing’s Tengu was the prize, and the ship’s cargo suggests a missile-heavy fit built for sustained damage. Large stocks of Scourge Fury Heavy Missiles, Caldari Navy Scourge Heavy Missiles, Scourge Precision Heavy Missiles, and Dread Guristas Inferno Heavy Missiles were all part of the destruction or drop, along with nanite repair paste. Whatever the ship was doing in Y6-HPG, it was carrying enough ammunition and support supplies to indicate a combat-ready cruiser rather than a lightly fitted travel hull.

THE BREAK

The final blow came from an unknown attacker in a Pithatis Death Dealer, a ship that fits the profile of a fast and dangerous hunting vessel. The attacker is credited with 44,832 damage, enough to finish the Tengu decisively once contact had been made. With no wider fleet present in the record, the engagement appears to have been settled by speed, timing, and the ability to isolate the target before it could escape or be reinforced.

THE COST

At 1.1 billion ISK, the loss is substantial even before accounting for the pressure of being caught twice in the same system in quick succession. For Fraternity., the destruction of a strategic cruiser in Y6-HPG may signal that local hunters were active and attentive enough to exploit any exposed movement. For the attackers, it is another clean and expensive prize claimed in a system that was already starting to look unsafe.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
