A Deluge flying under the OnlyFleets. banner was caught and destroyed in Thera in a sharp two-on-one strike by Dark Spectrum, turning a brief encounter into a costly 1.1 billion ISK loss. The ship was stripped for 224.3 million ISK in destruction, while 832.8 million ISK in assets dropped into the wreckage.

THE CATCH

The engagement was over almost as soon as it began, with only five pilots involved and Dark Spectrum committing just two attackers to bring down the target. What makes the loss stand out is not the size of the fight, but the value of the ship itself: a Deluge worth more than a billion ISK, caught in the volatile lanes of Thera where even a brief lapse in caution can turn expensive.

THE KILL

The final blow came from Chuck Gagarinn flying a Hecate, with Yuuki Tyrannos in an Eris adding pressure as the trap closed. Together they overwhelmed Xobekk Gao’s Deluge, ending the ship’s run and leaving little room for a response. The attack appears to have been quick and focused, the sort of interception that punishes any hesitation in a system built for sudden violence.

THE LOSSES

The wreck tells the rest of the story. Of the 1.1 billion ISK total, 832.8 million ISK dropped, while 224.3 million ISK was destroyed outright. Among the items lost were a Standup Cloning Center I, a 50MN Quad LiF Restrained Microwarpdrive, and a Nanofiber Internal Structure II. Liquid Ozone was also destroyed, while Nitrogen Fuel Blocks were recovered in the wreckage.

WHAT IT MEANS

For OnlyFleets. and pilot Xobekk Gao, this was a brutally expensive misstep in one of New Eden’s least forgiving systems. For Dark Spectrum, it was a clean and efficient prize: a high-value target isolated and removed with minimal commitment. In Thera, that kind of certainty is rare enough to matter.
