A Charon carrying its load through Uedama was destroyed in a quick strike that left almost nothing behind. The 1.5 billion ISK industrial loss came in a brief but decisive attack by L.E.G.I.O.N, with a swarm of Catalysts doing the heavy lifting and zLegion 02 landing the final blow.

THE CATCH

The freighter belonged to Behavior of Death or Glory, flying under the Risky eXplosion corporation name, and it was caught in Uedama at 08:55:46 UTC. In a system long known for punishing exposed haulers, the Charon became the kind of target that invites immediate attention: large, valuable, and difficult to save once the attack begins.

THE BREAK

L.E.G.I.O.N committed at least 25 attackers to the destruction, with the report showing 28 participants in the encounter overall. The assault was built around a pack of Catalysts, a familiar shape for a fast, concentrated strike against a vulnerable industrial ship. zLegion 01, zLegion 04, zLegion 05, and zLegion 06 all piled on damage before zLegion 02 secured the kill.

THE LOSSES

The Charon was stripped almost completely clean in the wreckage. Only 1.1 million ISK in loot was recovered, while the rest of the ship and fittings went up with it. Among the notable modules were Reinforced Bulkheads II and Inertial Stabilizers II, while the Expanded Cargohold II fittings were destroyed outright, underscoring that this was a hauler configured to move cargo — and one that never made it clear.

For Death or Glory, the loss is a costly reminder of how quickly a freighter can disappear in Uedama.
