Cenotaph Destroyed in Sudden Jark Interception

A 1.1 billion ISK Cenotaph was cut down in Jark as a small group of attackers caught Gepirion of HOLD MY PROBS and WILD FLAME before the ship could pull clear. The loss, split between destruction and loot, left only a brief window for escape before the attackers finished the job.

THE CATCH

The engagement in Jark was brief, but it was decisive. A Cenotaph flown by Gepirion of WILD FLAME came under attack from a two-pilot strike force tied to AEGIS, with an additional EDENCOM Heavy GunStar present on the field. With only three participants recorded in the clash, this was less a fleet battle than a sharp interception that turned quickly against the victim.

THE BREAK

The final blow came from an unknown attacker flying an Elite Imperial Navy Crusader, a ship built for speed and pursuit rather than brute force. That choice suggests the target was pressured quickly and pinned before any meaningful escape could develop. The Cenotaph’s destruction was immediate, and the numbers point to a violent, efficient strike rather than a prolonged exchange.

THE LOSSES

The Cenotaph’s fall carried a heavy price tag. The ship and fittings accounted for 1.1 billion ISK in total value, with 649.8 million ISK destroyed and 465.5 million ISK recovered from the wreck. The cargo shows the ship had been carrying a substantial missile load, including hundreds of Rage and Javelin heavy assault missiles alongside SCARAB Breacher Pods, which underlines how much was riding on the vessel at the moment it was caught.

THE COST OF A SHORT FIGHT

For HOLD MY PROBS, the loss of a Cenotaph in such a small engagement is the kind of setback that is felt immediately. The fight in Jark appears to have ended almost as soon as it began, but the value destroyed and the presence of a specialised interceptor on the attackers’ side make it a notable prize. In New Eden, even the shortest fights can leave the deepest mark when the right ship is caught in the wrong place.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
