A capsule carrying 3.5 billion ISK in implants was destroyed in 5-FGQI, ending what appears to have been a very costly escape attempt almost as soon as it began. Fuel Xion of The Silent Syndicate, flying an Eris, delivered the final blow against Dexter Tivianne of Intaki-Business Logistics Union.

THE CATCH

The loss came in a tiny encounter by New Eden standards — just four participants were involved — but the price tag made it impossible to dismiss. In 5-FGQI, Dexter Tivianne’s capsule was caught and destroyed, taking with it a set of high-end implants that included a Mid-grade Asklepian Gamma, Michi's Excavation Augmentor, and a Zainou 'Gypsy' CPU Management EE-601.

THE FINAL BLOW

The destruction was credited to Fuel Xion, flying an Eris for The Silent Syndicate’s Red Lizzie's Pirate Crew. With only 461 damage recorded on the capsule, the interceptor hull was not there to overpower a ship so much as to ensure the target did not get away. That the fight ended with a destroyer-class tackle ship delivering the final blow suggests the capsule was exposed and caught at exactly the wrong moment.

THE PRIZE

For the victim, the real loss was not the capsule itself but the implants inside it.
