The final blow went to ShadowBurn T of Out of the Blue., flying an Eris, while the victim, MisGuidance of Lazerhawks, saw an expensive medical escape turn into a total loss.

THE CATCH

The loss happened at 16:05:48 UTC in CKX-RW, where four participants were involved in an encounter that resolved almost immediately. For the defenders, the crucial mistake was simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time: once a capsule is exposed, there is little room for recovery, and this one was carrying implants that pushed the total value to 2 billion ISK.

THE BLOW

ShadowBurn T, flying an Eris for Out of the Blue., secured the final blow with 461 damage. That detail matters less for raw firepower than for what it suggests about the hunt itself: the target had been pinned down long enough for the intercepting force to finish the job before any escape could come together.

THE LOSSES

The destruction went well beyond the hull. Among the items lost were Mid-grade Virtue Beta, Mid-grade Virtue Delta, and Mid-grade Virtue Omega, along with Poteque 'Prospector' Astrometric Acquisition AQ-706 and Poteque 'Prospector' Astrometric Rangefinding AR-806.
