A capsule carrying a costly stack of implants was intercepted and destroyed in Onatoh, ending a brief but expensive hunt for Great Below. The victim, DpFrdTurkey of State War Academy, was caught by two Praxis hulls and lost a pod valued at 1.8 billion ISK before escape was possible.

The destruction unfolded in Onatoh at 13:24 UTC, where a small five-participant clash quickly resolved into a single, brutal outcome. Great Below appears to have held the field with just two attackers in Praxis hulls, enough to pin down a State War Academy capsule before it could get clear.

THE POD BREAKS

What made the loss stand out was not the shell itself, but what it carried. The capsule was packed with expensive implants and training boosters, including an Ocular Filter - Improved, an Eifyr and Co. 'Rogue' Evasive Maneuvering EM-706, a Social Adaptation Chip - Improved, a Mining Foreman Mindlink, and a Zainou 'Gypsy' CPU Management EE-606. Those items did not survive the engagement, turning a routine pod kill into a costly setback.

THE FINAL BLOWS

Neo Chmura delivered the final blow from a Praxis, with Karolkens Chmura also involved in the attack. The damage profile suggests a quick, concentrated strike rather than a prolonged fight, and the capsule never appears to have found room to escape once the attackers committed.

THE COST OF A MISSTEP

For State War Academy, the loss is small in ships but large in consequence. A capsule can be replaced; a 1.8 billion ISK implant set cannot be recovered so easily. In a place like Onatoh, that kind of mistake can linger longer than the fight itself, especially when a brief interception ends with expensive training time going up in smoke.
