THE CONTINUED HUNT
This was not a fresh flare-up so much as a renewed strike in the same fight. The earlier loss of a Redeemer in Cadelanne had already marked the engagement as a dangerous one, and the follow-up kill suggests the pressure never really let up. In a brief exchange that began and ended at the same moment, the attackers caught another expensive target and turned it into wreckage before it could get away.
THE CATCH
Tower of BabeIl appears to have been the main force behind the kill, with six attackers recorded on the decisive side. They were not alone in the field, though: Dracarys. Marshal pilot Zhao-Jian-Guo also appears among the damage dealers, alongside supporting ships including another Abaddon and a Nidhoggur. The mix hints at a small but committed strike group, one that had enough power on grid to overwhelm a lone capital-grade target once it was pinned down.
THE BREAK
The Redeemer did not go out cleanly. Of the ship's total value, 935.9 million ISK was destroyed and 178.9 million ISK worth of material was recovered, including Helium Isotopes and Nanite Repair Paste. Among the lost fittings were Sisters Core Scanner Probes and Imperial Navy Ultraviolet L charges, the kind of cargo that suggests a ship built to travel, scan, and survive — until the hunt closed in too tightly. The final blow came from Rietanaisen Akkuo Yatolila in an Abaddon, sealing the loss in a matter of moments.
THE COST
For Alea jacta est., the destruction of SilaLeta's Redeemer adds another expensive chapter to an already punishing encounter in Cadelanne. For Tower of BabeIl and its allies, it is a sharp demonstration that the area remained contested and dangerous enough to catch another black-ops battleship in the same net. In New Eden, a second wreck of this kind does more than pad the ledger: it tells everyone watching that the hunters were still in control when the shooting stopped.
