THE CATCH

The fight in 94FR-S was over almost as soon as it began. What appears to have been a lone Buzzard was isolated and destroyed in a one-on-one encounter, with the attacker landing the final blow in a clean, efficient finish. For a ship built around discretion and survival, it was a brutally short end.

THE TARGET

The loss stood out because of what the Buzzard represents: a covert platform that normally buys its pilot time, options, and distance. Here, none of that mattered. HCMilan’s ship was recorded as carrying significant value, and the destruction of 1.3 billion ISK worth of the fit and cargo suggests the ship was carrying more than just the hull’s standard toolkit when it was caught.

THE BREAK

Once the kill was secured, the wreck told its own story.
