THE CATCH
The action in Siseide was over almost as soon as it began, but the result was anything but routine. One Bhaalgorn, flown by Blood Raider Goomb of Sedition.'s Jerkasaurus Wrecks Inc., was overwhelmed in a fight that drew 20 participants and quickly concentrated on the prized battleship. The engagement points to a brief but decisive trap, with Minmatar Fleet Alliance applying enough force to pin the target in place and finish the job before help or escape could change the outcome.
THE KILLING RANGE
The Bhaalgorn is never a casual loss, and this one carried more weight than most. Roughly 1.7 billion ISK of the ship and fit was destroyed, while 751.3 million ISK was recovered from the wreck. Among the destroyed modules and ammunition were faction and tech II weapons such as Imperial Navy Multifrequency L, Scorch L, Conflagration L, Warrior II and Hornet EC-300, suggesting a well-prepared ship that was still caught at the wrong moment. The final blow came from Sevaru in a Typhoon Fleet Issue, with Onionz, Invisibitch and others adding sustained damage to close the net.
THE BREAK
The attacker list shows Minmatar Fleet Alliance at the center of the strike, with support from allied pilots including Spaghetti N' Meatballs. The numbers suggest a compact but committed gang, one that was able to bring enough damage to bear to crack a heavy neutralizer battleship before it could recover. In a place like Siseide, that kind of loss can have an immediate effect: a faction battleship removed from the field means less pressure, less control, and one more reminder that even expensive hulls are vulnerable when they are isolated.
THE CONSEQUENCE
For Sedition., the destruction of a Bhaalgorn is a painful setback in both ISK and presence. For the attackers, it is a clean and expensive prize, the sort of catch that rewards patience and timing more than sheer scale. The fight lasted only an instant on the clock, but it left behind a clear message: in New Eden, a single exposed capital-class valued battleship can become the center of a very fast and very final collapse.
