Bhaalgorn Falls in 2B ISK Strike in Ami

A Bhaalgorn worth roughly 2 billion ISK was destroyed in Ami after a short, concentrated attack by multiple pilots left the expensive battleship stranded in firing range. The ship belonged to Skeeter Mcgee of Seker Academy, and the final blow came from Cosmic DJ Lee109’s Dominix, closing a fight that drew nine participants into the system.

THE CATCH

The engagement in Ami appears to have hinged on a single high-value target: a Bhaalgorn, one of New Eden’s most feared battleships when allowed to dictate range and hold a victim in place. Instead, it became the prize. Five attackers were directly tied to the destruction, with damage coming from a mix of hulls that suggests the ship was pressured from several angles rather than overrun by one overwhelming shot.

THE BREAKDOWN

The Bhaalgorn absorbed most of the cost of the encounter, with about 1.9 billion ISK destroyed and only 117.9 million ISK recovered from the wreck. Among the notable attackers were ramennn Update in a Vargur and Whiskieev in a Tempest, both contributing substantial damage before Cosmic DJ Lee109 landed the finishing blow in a Dominix. Even an Amarr sentry gun appears in the list of attackers, hinting that the fight unfolded close enough to a station or gate to pull the area’s defenses into the exchange.

THE LOSSES

For Seker Academy’s Skeeter Mcgee, the loss was not just another ship wrecked in local space. The Bhaalgorn’s fittings included Hobgoblin IIs, Warrior IIs, Gecko drones, and Conflagration L ammunition, with several items destroyed and some escaping in the wreckage. That mix points to a combat-ready hull that never got the chance to make its own weight count before the attackers cut it down.

WHY AMI MATTERS

Single-ship losses at this scale are often the sort that ripple beyond the immediate grid: expensive, memorable, and hard to ignore. With nine pilots drawn into the engagement and a 2 billion ISK battleship removed from the field, the fight in Ami stands out as a costly reminder that even a dangerous platform like the Bhaalgorn can be caught and dismantled when enough pressure lands at once.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
