The ship’s value alone made it a prize, but its presence also suggests the pilot was operating with enough confidence to field one of New Eden’s most feared battleships in a contested system.
THE ATTACKERS CLOSE IN
Murder Hobos. were credited as the main attacking organisation, with support from several others on the grid, including Snuffed Out and ur dunked. The damage spread across the target was heavy enough to strip out expensive modules and leave little behind. A Heavy Energy Neutralizer II was recovered, while a Centum C-Type Multispectrum Energized Membrane and a 500MN Cold-Gas Enduring Microwarpdrive were destroyed in the wreckage, alongside supplies and scripts that never had a chance to matter.
THE FINAL BLOWS
The final blow came from Supreme Being1 in a Hubris, bringing the Bhaalgorn down after 1.3 billion ISK in losses and only 275 million ISK in drops. Several attackers contributed significant damage, with Redeemers from Snuffed Out and a Nidhoggur from ur dunked helping to overwhelm the battleship before it could slip away. The wreck suggests the target was pressured quickly and decisively, leaving the attacker group in control of the exchange almost as soon as it began.
THE COST
For High Bear Nation., the loss of a Bhaalgorn is more than a single expensive hull gone missing. It removes a powerful and specialised battleship from the field and hands Murder Hobos. and their partners a clean, high-value result from a fast fight in Erila. In New Eden, those brief encounters can matter as much as larger fleet clashes: one ship caught at the wrong moment, one trap that closes properly, and a battlefield that suddenly belongs to the hunters.
