The vessel’s fittings, including Expanded Cargohold IIs, a Type-D Restrained Inertial Stabilizer and a Medium Cargohold Optimization rig, suggest a setup focused on transport efficiency—exactly the sort of configuration that can become a liability when a hunter gets the first shot.

Once the Rupture connected, the outcome appears to have been decided quickly. Oltis Naari recorded the final blow and all of the damage attributed to the attack, indicating that KN CP’s lone pilot was enough to finish the job without needing a larger fleet to seal the trap. The Bestower’s value in the field was dwarfed by the haul it never got to deliver.
WHY IT MATTERS
For haulers moving through Sivala, the loss is a reminder that even modest-looking ships can carry fortunes and invite predation. For KN CP, it was a clean and profitable interception; for Science and Trade Institute, it was a costly failure of transit protection.
