Astral Alteran’s Marshal delivered the final blow, with support from Cassilda Chambers in a Proteus, Mike Kisiel in another Proteus, and Sinistrality in a Loki. That mix suggests a compact, highly capable hunting force that was able to concentrate fire quickly enough to break the Barghest before it could escape the net closing around it.
THE LOSSES
The ship itself accounted for roughly 2 billion ISK of the total loss, with another 290.9 million ISK destroyed or recovered from its hold. The Barghest was carrying a large missile stockpile, and much of it went up with the hull — including thousands of Fury heavy missiles across multiple damage types, a reminder that the value of the kill extended beyond the hull alone.
