THE HUNT
The target was an Azbel anchored in E-BYOS, a structure that was never going to go quietly once a hostile group committed enough force to break it. On paper the engagement was small, but the value at stake was anything but. With 12 participants recorded around the fight, the clash appears to have been a focused assault rather than a sprawling fleet brawl.
THE PRESSURE
The attackers came in as a tight six-ship package, with four Leshaks doing most of the heavy lifting and a Legion in support. Amuko, flying one of the Leshaks, claimed the final blow, but the damage was shared across the assault team as they ground through the Azbel’s defenses. The structure’s damage profile suggests a sustained effort rather than a quick opportunistic volley.
THE COLLAPSE
When the Azbel finally gave way, it shed both destroyed and dropped value in roughly equal measure: 3.9 billion ISK lost outright and another 3.3 billion ISK recovered from the wreckage. The more telling losses were the pieces that did not survive at all, including 3,990 Oxygen Fuel Blocks, while the Azbel Upwell Quantum Core and Standup Cloning Center I were among the valuable items that made it out intact enough to be counted among the spoils.
THE LOSSES
For Angry Miners Alliance. and Edge Dancers, the destruction of an Azbel is more than a single line of accounting. Structures of this class are expensive, exposed, and difficult to replace without feeling the blow. In E-BYOS, the attackers did not merely score a kill; they removed a major asset worth 7.2 billion ISK and left the defenders with a visible, expensive failure to absorb.
