THE BREAK
The Avalanche’s fittings suggest a combat-ready platform built around sustained fire, but the ship was unable to survive the pressure once the attackers closed in. Tirax Vale, flying a Widow for Seventh Sanctum., landed the final blow, while other heavy ships joined the damage race. Among the more notable attackers were another Widow piloted by Ultrabug, a Redeemer flown by Hellrazer, and battleship support from Jan Black and Johnny Jackweed. That mix suggests a coordinated strike rather than a casual roam.
THE LOSSES
Only two ships were reported lost in the encounter, but the one that mattered was the Avalanche itself. Just 14.6 million ISK worth of material reportedly escaped destruction, with the rest erased in the explosion. The value of the loss alone makes this more than a routine skirmish; for Goonswarm Federation, it was a painful and very visible hit in a small fight where the attackers managed to convert a brief opening into a major payout.
