THE TARGET

The structure at the centre of the action was an Athanor, a valuable industrial anchor that rarely dies quietly. In this case, it was caught in Misha and destroyed for a total loss of 2.4 billion ISK, with 1.4 billion ISK worth of material destroyed and a further 971 million ISK dropped from the wreck. The presence of an Athanor Upwell Quantum Core underlines how much was at stake when the attackers arrived.

THE STRIKE

LowSechnaya Sholupen appears to have committed a compact but focused force: five pilots in Leshaks, backed by a Nestor. The damage was distributed across the attacking ships, but the heaviest work was done by Northen Wind, Industry Nort, and Teladi Prime, all flying Leshaks. Northen Wind delivered the final blow, ending the structure’s chances of surviving the engagement.

THE BREAK

The structure’s fittings suggest it was not a trivial shell to strip down. Standup Heavy Missiles were recovered from the debris, while Standup Light Missiles and Standup Cruise Missiles were destroyed in the process. Helium Fuel Blocks were among the items that dropped, showing the kind of logistical stock usually tied to a functioning industrial installation. Once the Leshaks had settled into the job, the outcome appears to have been decided quickly.

THE SIGNIFICANCE

For Tartarus Freeport Network, the loss is a blunt reminder of how exposed even industrial assets can be when a determined assault lands cleanly. For LowSechnaya Sholupen, it was a tidy and expensive prize taken with a small field and a concentrated application of force. In New Eden, that kind of efficiency can be as telling as a much larger battle.
