In Pure Blind's CL6-ZG, a prolonged structure battle turned into a subcapital slugfest. Test Alliance Please Ignore deployed a large force of Maelstroms while a Snuffed Out Astrahus was destroyed. Across the engagement, 129 losses totaled 23.1 billion ISK.

Artillery and Missiles

Test's side fielded Maelstroms, while Snuffed Out and its allies fielded Ravens and Raven Navy Issues. Early losses included an Osprey Navy Issue from Fraternity and a Basilisk from Snuffed Out, followed soon after by a Scimitar from Fraternity. The Initiative and Goonswarm Federation also joined in, taking few losses of their own.

The Astrahus Falls

The battle's largest single loss came when Solyaris Chtonium's I BabaYaga I delivered the final blow to a 969.5 million ISK Astrahus belonging to Snuffed Out. The structure's destruction did not mark the end of the fighting. I BabaYaga I later lost his own Maelstrom to The Initiative, and the battle continued well past the structure kill.

Aftermath and Continued Fighting

As the engagement wore on, losses continued to accumulate. D-sync, a small third side, lost a Mobile Tractor Unit to Goonswarm Federation. Scary Wormhole People, L A Z E R H A W K S, Northern Coalition, and Pandemic Legion were among those credited with final blows. The engagement involved no capital or supercapital losses.
