Command Ship Carnage in J152034

When several alliances clashed across three sides in the wormhole system of J152034, the result was a brief brawl that saw 20.2B ISK in combined losses. Mercenaires Sans Frontieres, Seriously Suspicious, and several other alliances traded blows in a chaotic three-way engagement where command ships and heavy assault cruisers accounted for most of the destroyed hulls.

The Contenders

The battlefield was split into three ragged teams. URSA and High Bear Nation brought Absolution command ships. Seriously Suspicious and D E L I R I U M fielded Nighthawks and Damnations. Mercenaires Sans Frontieres and the evocatively named 33 Year Old Men Rage Rolling On A Friday Night replied with Nighthawks and Cerberuses. A lone Singularity Syndicate pilot, Lyssa Naari, was also present in a Loki strategic cruiser. All told, 51 pilots participated, with command ships forming the core of each fleet.

The Brawl Unfolds

The first loss was a Nighthawk, and within seconds a Claymore followed. Kills continued in quick succession as command ships and heavy assault cruisers traded fire across the three teams. Shichi of Mercenaires Sans Frontieres and Jazboc of Seriously Suspicious each landed multiple final blows, with final blows credited across all three sides.

The Loki's End

The most expensive loss of the brawl belonged to Lyssa Naari of Singularity Syndicate, whose 1.7B ISK Loki strategic cruiser was destroyed by Jazboc of Seriously Suspicious. Eighteen attackers piled on, making it the largest single loss of the engagement. Naari's alliance contributed only one pilot to the fight, and their single ship became the costliest casualty.

Aftermath

Seriously Suspicious suffered the heaviest losses, with Mercenaires Sans Frontieres and the other alliances taking their share.
