A 6.8 billion ISK engagement in T-RPFU ended with an Astrahus destroyed after nearly half an hour of sustained pressure, as Curatores Veritatis Alliance and Kinetic Diplomacy worked alongside allies to grind through the structure’s defences and secure the kill. The fight also claimed a Panther, suggesting the target’s defenders were unable to fully extract their assets before the attack closed in.

THE CATCH

The first clear prize of the encounter was the Astrahus, a structure belonging to Honorable Third Party and piloted by an unidentified member of Anoikis Equilibrium at the time of its destruction. The attack drew in 79 aggressors against a total field of 119 participants, with Kinetic Diplomacy and Curatores Veritatis Alliance appearing to lead the pressure. What unfolded was not a quick strike, but a prolonged siege in which the Astrahus had little room to recover once the attackers established control.

THE BREAK

The citadel’s losses tell the story of the assault’s intensity. Standup Heavy Missile and Standup Light Missile batteries were stripped away, while hundreds of Standup Cruise Missiles were either dropped or destroyed, along with Nitrogen Fuel Blocks and Standup Firbolg I fighters. That mix suggests the structure was not simply being shot down from afar, but had been forced to commit its own defensive systems before collapsing under a heavier, coordinated push. The final blow came from Jeeves Korso flying a Hound for Kinetic Diplomacy, bringing the structure down after the attackers had already chewed through much of what it could throw back.

THE LOSSES

The Astrahus alone accounted for 3 billion ISK of the total damage, with 2 billion destroyed and 1 billion recovered. The rest of the engagement included the destruction of a Panther, underlining that this was more than a single structure kill and that the skirmish carried enough weight to cost a covert-ops-capable hull as well. In an encounter like this, even one capital-looking loss can signal a badly timed attempt to move, defend, or reposition under fire.

WHY IT MATTERS

For Honorable Third Party, the loss of an Astrahus in T-RPFU is a sharp setback that would have been felt well beyond the grid itself. For the attackers, the result shows the value of persistence: a structure that can endure the first minutes of a fight is not necessarily going to survive the hour.
