The capital was isolated in J170231 and brought under fire by seven attackers from Die Verval., part of a 10-pilot clash that ended almost as quickly as it began.
THE BREAKDOWN
Die Verval. applied pressure with a heavy, deliberate mix of hulls: Freddy KCruger and PL2000 in Leshaks, backed by Drekavacs flown by OzzyKING AA, DI Arko, and LQ84I. The final blow came from OzzyKING AA in a Drekavac after the Archon had already taken substantial damage. The scale of the damage suggests the carrier was being worked over by concentrated fire rather than given room to maneuver.
THE LOSSES
The Archon accounted for almost the entire value of the engagement. Around 3.5 billion ISK was destroyed with only 96 million ISK recovered, and the wreckage included a dead 50,000MN Cold-Gas Enduring Microwarpdrive, helium isotopes, and a large number of burned or lost charges. Even with Sisters Core Scanner Probes among the dropped items, the ship itself was the prize—and the loss was decisive.
