A lone Apocalypse Navy Issue worth 1.2 billion ISK was brought down in QRH-BF in a brief, two-pilot clash that ended with its fittings shattered and its cargo split between destruction and loot. The ship belonged to FlyMeToTheMoon555 of HOLD MY PROBS, and the final blow came from an unidentified attacker flying an Infested Carrier.

THE CATCH

The engagement in QRH-BF was over almost as soon as it began, but the loss was anything but trivial. One side fielded a single Apocalypse Navy Issue, while the other appeared as an unaligned attacker in an Infested Carrier. With only two pilots involved, there was no room for error once the target was found.

THE BREAK

The Navy Issue’s ammunition load suggests it was ready for a fight: Scorch L, Conflagration L, and Imperial Navy Multifrequency L were all aboard. But readiness did not translate into survival. The battleship was destroyed in the brief exchange, with 738.1 million ISK in hull and fittings lost and another 472.5 million ISK recovered from the wreck.

THE LOSSES

FlyMeToTheMoon555’s ship went down with its combat stores and repair supplies still aboard, including Nanite Repair Paste and ammunition that did not survive the destruction. For a single-ship engagement, the result was unusually expensive, and the loss of an Apocalypse Navy Issue will be felt far beyond the short duration of the fight itself.

THE SIGNIFICANCE

What makes the clash notable is its stark simplicity: a high-value Navy battleship caught by a lone hostile carrier and removed from the field in seconds. There is no sign of a larger fleet action here, only a clean and costly interception that left HOLD MY PROBS with one fewer heavy hull in QRH-BF and Unaligned attackers with a significant prize.
