THE CATCH

The core of the engagement was a high-value Occator piloted by h3h of Ivy League, flying under EVE University. The transport was worth 7.1 billion ISK by the final tally, and most of that value appears to have come from cargo rather than the hull itself: 6.7 billion ISK reportedly dropped, while 401 million ISK was destroyed with the ship. That kind of haul makes any logistics loss feel less like a routine interception and more like a prize fight with the odds already tilted.

THE PRESSURE

The attackers came from Ahbazon-Prime, with support from Weapons Of Mass Production., and the final blow landed from Ava Inferno in an Oracle. Four other Ahbazon-Prime pilots in Oracles appear to have helped grind down the target, while a Rapier was also on grid, suggesting the target was held in place long enough for the damage dealers to do their work. With six attackers on the Occator alone, the kill had the shape of a deliberate hunt rather than a passing opportunity.

THE COLLAPSE

The action was not limited to one ship. A Charon was also destroyed in the same engagement, bringing the loss count to two and suggesting the attackers caught more than one valuable vessel while pressure was on in Ahbazon. The broader fight involved around 30 participants over nearly half an hour, which hints at a running struggle rather than a single clean volley. For the defenders, that kind of duration can be the worst part: enough time to commit, not enough time to disengage cleanly.

THE LOSSES

The wreckage left behind more than just a pair of hulls. The Occator was carrying a collection of valuable industrial assets, including Federation Navy Comet blueprints, bastion modules, and blueprint crates, items that underline how much was at stake inside the transport. For Ivy League and Eviction-Scout Inc., the engagement appears to have ended in a costly loss of both mobility and cargo, while Ahbazon-Prime and its allies walked away with a prize that likely made the risk worthwhile.
