A lone Alligator was cut down in J124646 after a seven-strong C U L T attack overwhelmed it in a brief wormhole skirmish that ended with the ship destroyed and only a fraction of its value recovered. The loss, valued at 1.2 billion ISK, turned a short encounter into a costly wreck for 10 Minutes' Notice.

THE CATCH

The fight in J124646 appears to have been decided almost as soon as it began. The Alligator, flown by Minmatar Citizen 2121687517 of 10 Minutes' Notice, was caught by a C U L T group that put seven attackers onto the target. In wormhole space, where isolation is often fatal, that kind of pressure leaves little room for error.

THE BREAK

C U L T’s damage came from a concentrated line of Harbinger Navy Issues, backed by a standard Harbinger, with AltAnubis delivering the final blow in a Harbinger Navy Issue. The ship was worn down quickly under combined fire, and the scale of the attackers suggests the Alligator had no realistic chance to force its way out once the engagement closed.

THE LOSSES

The destruction of the Alligator wiped out about 1 billion ISK of value, while only 176.9 million ISK appears to have been recovered from the wreck. Alongside the hull went a heavy missile load and supplies, including thousands of Fury and faction missiles and over a thousand units of nanite repair paste, underlining how fully stocked the ship was when it was caught.

For 10 Minutes' Notice, the loss is less about the number of ships and more about the sting of losing a 1.2 billion ISK platform in a single, decisive ambush.
