The ship, flown by Sofiy Spenser of Per aspera ad astra., went down under sustained fire from a 21-pilot engagement that quickly tipped in the attackers’ favour.

THE CATCH

The Alligator stood out as the prize in TY2X-C: a heavy missile platform carrying a substantial loadout and enough value to make any exposed sortie dangerous. What unfolded there suggests the ship was isolated and then rapidly overwhelmed before it could escape the net closing around it.

THE PRESSURE BUILDS

Out of the Blue. committed at least 16 attackers to the destruction, with shi Askiras in a Cyclone Fleet Issue delivering the final blow. Damage also came from a pair of Drake Navy Issue hulls, a Sleipnir, and another Cyclone Fleet Issue, pointing to a coordinated strike rather than a lone opportunist’s shot in the dark.

THE LOSSES

The ship itself accounted for 718.8 million ISK in destroyed value, while 603.9 million ISK worth of assets dropped from the wreck. Among the debris were large missile stocks, including Guristas Scourge Heavy Missiles, Scourge Fury Heavy Missiles, and Dread Guristas Inferno Heavy Missiles, along with Nanite Repair Paste and 10M Bounty SCC Encrypted Bonds—evidence of a fit that was loaded for a fight and expensive enough to hurt.
