THE CATCH
The fight in Deltole was brief, but it carried the weight of an expensive mistake. Terra D351R3’s Squall became the centrepiece of an 11-pilot engagement, and once it was pinned down, the attackers moved fast enough to turn the encounter into a kill rather than a chase. For a ship with nearly a billion ISK destroyed on the wreck itself and more than 2 billion ISK in cargo and fittings recovered or lost, there was little room for hesitation.
THE PRESSURE BUILDING
Something Really Pretentious fielded at least eight pilots in the final strike, with support coming from a mix of Maller cruisers and a Gnosis. The damage profile suggests the target was under sustained pressure rather than struck by a single lucky volley. By the time WhatRUdoing Stepuncle landed the finishing blow, the Squall had already been worn down by coordinated fire from multiple attackers.
THE PRIZE
The cargo tells its own story. Among the losses were 1.1 million Helium Isotopes and a stock of Warpath Operational Intel, along with heavy missile ammunition that was partly scattered to the wreckage and partly destroyed. That kind of payload makes the ship look less like a routine transport and more like a vessel carrying material worth risking a fight over.
THE COST
For SUGA GLIDERS, the destruction of Terra D351R3’s Squall is the kind of loss that hurts long after the grid is clear. Deltole has added another expensive wreck to the region’s ledger, and Something Really Pretentious leaves with a high-value prize and the satisfaction of having turned an 11-pilot clash into a very one-sided ending.
