34.9B ISK Fight in Halmah Ends in Heavy Losses

A large fight in Halmah ended with 34.9 billion ISK destroyed over more than two hours of combat, as 209 pilots from both sides traded losses across a mixed field of battleships, capitals and support ships. Fraternity., Dragon Riders Legion, Dracarys., Deepwater Hooligans and other groups were all present as the engagement ground on until the final blow settled the matter.

THE CLASH FOR HALMAH

The fighting in Halmah began at 11:13 UTC and did not end until 13:26 UTC, giving the engagement the feel of a prolonged regional clash rather than a brief skirmish. The scale was substantial: 209 participants, 78 ship losses, and a total destruction bill of 34.9 billion ISK. Both sides committed broad mixed fleets, suggesting a contest that drew in enough weight to make every exchange matter.

THE LOSSES MOUNT

The wreckage was spread across several classes of ship, with Raven battleships taking the heaviest share of the losses. Apocalypse Navy Issue and Tempest Fleet Issue hulls also fell, while a Revelation Navy Issue and smaller support ships such as Ospreys and Huginns were among the dead. That mix points to a fight in which heavy firepower, capital pressure and tackle all ended up exposed as the battle shifted back and forth.

THE POINT OF DECISION

The largest single loss was the Halmah itself, valued at 34.9 billion ISK and attributed to Fraternity. and Dragon Riders Legion, and others on the victim side. The final blow was recorded by WarBeacon, with Dracarys. and Deepwater Hooligans listed among the leading attackers, alongside support from Goonswarm Federation, Out of the Blue. and Nano-Brain. The result suggests a coordinated effort that steadily wore down resistance until the target could no longer hold.

AFTERMATH IN THE FIELD

For Fraternity., Dragon Riders Legion and their allies, the cost was severe, with more than 27.6 billion ISK lost on their side of the ledger. Dracarys., Deepwater Hooligans and their partners also suffered meaningful damage, losing more than 7.2 billion ISK. In a fight of this length and scale, the damage itself is the message: Halmah became a costly reminder that once a large engagement settles into attrition, even a disciplined formation can be dragged deep into the red.

Big Vantus Paid 15 Ships Toward Pochven's 72 Billion ISK Tab

Of the 47 ships destroyed in Ignebaener, 46 were, in ISK terms, background noise. The 47th was a Paladin valued at just under 57.5 billion ISK - close to four-fifths of everything the system destroyed in one sitting. One hull, one pilot, one very bad moment, and the number that will define this fight long after the killboards stop updating.

Brave Newbies Lost 21 Ships in 4-07MU and Shot Back With Interest

Somewhere around 19:25 UTC, a Caracal Navy Issue died in 4-07MU and 912 pilots decided that was a reasonable invitation. Two hours later the system had produced 200 wrecks, 67.2 billion ISK of damage, and not one capital ship - just battleship after battleship feeding itself into a fight that refused to end. The killboards call it a gank. The killboards are only half right.

Solyaris Chtonium Killed Redux.'s Avatar as 1,166 Pilots Watched

The last thing an Avatar expects to be doing is dying in lowsec, but Amamake has been ruining plans for a very long time. Redux.'s Amarr Titan - one of the largest and most expensive warships in New Eden - came apart in the Heimatar system with roughly 1,166 pilots involved in the kill, and a price tag of 142.7 billion ISK attached to a single loss.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Warlock Industries Alliance Lost 52 Billion ISK. It Wasn't Even a Capital.

Fifty-two point nine billion ISK, gone. One killmail. Eight hundred and forty-seven pilots on the record. Amamake has swallowed fleets, capitals, and more than a few alliances' sense of direction over the years. It has rarely swallowed 52.9 billion ISK in a single ship that was not even a capital. The victim was the Sarathiel, flying under the banner of Warlock Industries Alliance. The credited killer was Minmatar Fleet Associates. And every one of those 847 names belongs to the same kill.
