THE CATCH
The fight in J101000 appears to have been a small, fast-moving trap rather than a drawn-out brawl. Three participants were recorded across the engagement, with Sleepless Watchmen present on both sides of the action and an unaligned Sleepless Sentinel contributing the bulk of the damage. Whatever brought the Leshak into danger, it did not get much room to respond once the ambush closed.
THE LESHAK GOES DOWN
The ship at the centre of the loss was Blender the Bot’s Leshak, a hull already expensive enough to matter before fittings are counted. The battle data puts the destroyed value at about 1 billion ISK, with another 386.3 million ISK recovered from the wreck. Heavy ammunition and combat supplies went with it, including large stocks of Meson Exotic Plasma L and Occult L, while Baryon Exotic Plasma L was destroyed in place.
THE FINAL BLOW
The finishing shot came from Drnkmst flying a capsule, after the Leshak had already taken 47,638 damage from the Sleepless Sentinel. Drnkmst was credited with the final blow for 2,452 damage, but the broader loss had already been decided by the time the ship collapsed. In EVE, even a brief window can be fatal when a high-value hull is exposed in the wrong place at the wrong time.
WHAT IT COSTS
A single Leshak is rarely a trivial loss, and this one was worth enough to make the engagement memorable on its own. The total value of the event reached 2.7 billion ISK, a steep price for a skirmish that barely had time to develop. In wormhole space, that kind of loss can mean more than the ship itself: it signals that someone was found, pinned, and broken before an escape could take shape.
