A 2.3 billion ISK ship was destroyed in a short, sharp ambush in ID 32000185, where seven pilots converged on a single target and stripped away more than 1.5 billion ISK in dropped cargo and fittings before the hull went down.

THE CATCH

The loss centred on a single ship identified as ID 12005, flown by ID 2123265811 of ID 99003581. It was caught in a fight that involved seven participants overall, with six attackers applying enough pressure to bring the target down before an escape could take shape.

THE PRESSURE BUILDS

The damage did not come from one source alone. ID 3019609, flying ID 47957 for ID 1000274, landed the final blow, but the target was also under fire from several other attackers, including pilots from ID 1000293, ID 1000137, and another ship from ID 1000274. That spread of incoming damage suggests the victim was already boxed in and being worked over from multiple angles.

THE BREAK

When the ship finally broke, the wreck left behind a costly mix of destroyed and dropped assets. The reported value of the loss reached 2.3 billion ISK, with 811.7 million ISK destroyed and 1.5 billion ISK dropped, underscoring how much was at stake once the target was committed and unable to pull free.

WHY IT MATTERS

For ID 99003581, the destruction of an expensive ship in a fight this small is the kind of setback that is felt immediately.
