The participation count suggests the target did not die to a single opportunistic shot, but to a coordinated net closing around a valuable and vulnerable hauler.
THE BREAK
Goonswarm’s presence was enough to force the issue, with two Dominixes, a Sabre, and supporting tackle on grid. The final blow came from BORG UNIT 87 in a Dominix, while BORG UNIT 86, BORG UNIT 88, and allied Brave Collective pilots Nammo and Posiedon Taraliam all contributed in some fashion to the pressure around the target. The involvement of interdiction ships and heavy hulls points to a hunt that left the Viator with little room to maneuver once it was exposed.
THE PRIZE
The wreckage was expensive. Of the 1.1B ISK tied up in the loss, 567.1M ISK was destroyed and 571.9M ISK managed to drop, including a spread of blueprint assets that made the outcome especially painful. Among the items affected were Plasma Pulse Generator Blueprints, Nanomechanical Microprocessor Blueprints, Graviton Pulse Generator Blueprints, and Fernite Carbide Composite Armor Plate Blueprints, the kind of cargo that turns a ship loss into a broader industrial setback.
