THE CATCH

The loss centred on a single Vargur, a marauder that rarely goes down quietly. Instead, Rylan Randall’s ship was broken in J9-5MQ with 12 participants appearing on the field and six attackers credited with contributing directly to the kill. The fight ended with Dodgey Sen in a Widow landing the final blow, but the damage had clearly already been done by a mixed attack force that included another Widow, a Redeemer, a Marshal, and even a Guristas Dreadnought.

That spread of hulls points to a heavily committed hunt rather than a casual skirmish.
