The Vanquisher at the Centre
Amid the destruction, the largest single loss belonged to Kalayavan Medellin of Quantshure. His Vanquisher titan, a 766B ISK hull, was destroyed with Saira Aihaken of Fraternity credited as the final blow. A mass of attackers contributed to its destruction. The Vanquisher's fall underscored the scale of the engagement, where even the most formidable supercapitals were not immune.
Titans and Dreadnoughts Burn
Fraternity and Snuffed Out were the two most heavily engaged organisations by losses in the fighting. Titan losses struck both groups hard. Snuffed Out lost a procession of Erebus, Leviathan and Avatar hulls, and Fraternity lost titans as well, including a Ragnarok, along with multiple dreadnoughts. Carriers and force auxiliaries were among the ships lost across the engagement. Interdictors, stealth bombers and recon ships also fell in numbers, showing the range of hulls committed.
A Battle That Pulled in the Neighbourhood
The fighting was not limited to those two groups. The Initiative and Northern Coalition were also deeply involved, while Pandemic Legion, Test Alliance Please Ignore, Goonswarm Federation, Dracarys and a host of smaller organisations had pilots in the fray. The engagement became a sprawling brawl that touched dozens of alliances and corporations across New Eden.
A Costly Reminder
For the capsuleers involved, Obe became a stark demonstration of the price of supercapital warfare. The loss of so many titans and capitals in a single system served as a reminder that no ship, no matter how vast, is beyond destruction.
