A One-Sided Brawl
One side, drawn from Pretenders, Seker Matar, and Just Lizard, fielded a battle line heavy with Typhoons and Machariels. The opposing force, featuring Pandemic Legion, Dread and Buried, and Out of the Blue, countered with Navy Apocalypses, Typhoon Fleet Issues, and Damnations. Typhoon after Typhoon was destroyed, with Dread and Buried's Antskyeeh repeatedly credited with the final blow. Pretenders bore the brunt with 20 losses, while Seker Matar lost three Machariels and Just Lizard contributed several more. The other side lost only a single Devoter from Pandemic Legion, and Dread and Buried recorded no losses at all.
The Athanor Falls
Later in the engagement, an Athanor belonging to Voidhome was destroyed. Valued at 3.4 billion ISK, it was the largest single loss of the battle. The final blow was landed by Nazuka kerck of Warping The Pattern, a group that fielded only three observed pilots but still made its mark. Voidhome itself had no observed pilots in the recorded engagement.
