THE CATCH
The loss centred on a single Praxis flown by an unidentified Dracarys. pilot. It went down in System 30004951 almost as soon as the engagement opened, suggesting a sudden catch rather than a prolonged chase. With three attackers credited on the final blow and only four participants in total, the encounter appears to have been compact, immediate, and unforgiving.
THE EXCHANGE
The damage was spread across multiple ships, with two Dracarys.-aligned attackers aboard Ship 54733 doing the heavy lifting and a third hostile in a Ship 37463 adding pressure. The Praxis did not survive the exchange long enough to absorb its losses cleanly. Its fittings tell part of the story: a Republic Fleet Large Cap Battery and a Large Capacitor Control Circuit I were destroyed, while an Imperial Navy Large EMP Smartbomb dropped from the wreck.
THE BREAKDOWN
At 2.3 billion ISK, the ship was never just another routine wreck. The destroyed value alone reached 1.5 billion ISK, while nearly 795 million ISK in modules survived the blast as loot. That kind of balance suggests a fight decided quickly, with the attackers applying enough damage to overwhelm the battleship before it could claw back control of the situation.
WHY IT MATTERS
For Dracarys., the loss is notable less for scale than for how exposed the Praxis appears to have been when the attack landed. A battleship is built to endure, but in System 30004951 it was caught in a fight too small to be called a fleet action and too costly to dismiss as routine. The result is a reminder that in New Eden, even familiar hulls can become expensive prizes the moment they are isolated.
