Nighthawk Wreck Becomes the Signature Loss in Ahbazon Brawl

Ahbazon rarely offers a calm day, and this engagement was no exception. A sprawling brawl left wreckage behind, with a combined destruction bill of 13.5B ISK. The fight pulled in alliances, delivery pilots, and academy graduates, but the most memorable loss was not a battleship at all.

  • Guardians of Tranquility
  • Seker Matar
  • Ahbazon-Prime

Tempests and Abaddons at the Center

The main weight of the fighting fell on Guardians of Tranquility and a combined Seker Matar and Ahbazon-Prime presence. Guardians of Tranquility brought a line dominated by Tempest-class battleships, while Seker Matar and Ahbazon-Prime answered with Abaddons and Brutix Navy Issues. The result was a heavy exchange in which battleships and battlecruisers absorbed repeated punishment. Out of the Blue and Shadow Cartel also had pilots on the Guardians side, adding further firepower. The engagement drew in pilots from a wide range of alliances and corporations as the wreckage accumulated.

The Nighthawk That Stood Out

Amid the battleship wrecks, the single most expensive loss was a Nighthawk command ship flown by Creeonix of WiNGSPAN Delivery Network. RyuguRenakawaii of Out of the Blue delivered the final blow, removing a 2.3B ISK hull from the fight. That one ship accounted for a hefty slice of the overall battle's cost and gave the engagement a focal point beyond the usual Tempest and Abaddon losses.

A Crowded Field

The fighting was not confined to the main alliances. Apex Mercantile, The Initiative, and Renminbi Alliance all contributed to the destruction at various moments, alongside smaller corporate entities. No capital or supercapital hulls were lost, but the accumulation of battleship and battlecruiser wrecks kept the cost climbing. Tempest Fleet Issue and Abaddon battleships were among the losses, with Abaddons lost on both sides, along with a Damnation command ship from Guardians of Tranquility and a Proteus from Seker Matar. The engagement served as a reminder that Ahbazon can turn even a fight without capitals into an expensive mess.
