The Bill Was Written in Battleships
Break open the 608 billion ISK and the shape of the fight becomes obvious. The four most expensive hull types destroyed in Kuharah - the Apocalypse Navy Issue at 136.8 billion, the Scorpion Navy Issue at 135.6 billion, the Raven Navy Issue at 65.9 billion and the plain Raven at 47.7 billion - come to roughly 386 billion between them. Close to two thirds of everything lost in the system, concentrated in four hull types. Those are totals, not trophies. Nobody lost a 136-billion-ISK Apocalypse Navy Issue; that figure is the combined price of every one of them that died. These are battleships - slow, heavily tanked, expensive to fit and painful to replace - and they were destroyed over and over again for hours until the sum looked like the budget of a small war. For anyone newer to New Eden, that is the important part. A fight of this size is rarely decided by one enormous loss. It is decided by volume, and Kuharah had volume to spare.
NO PANIC GROUP Brought Company
The largest kill tally on the attacking side belongs to NO PANIC GROUP with 360, followed by Baba Yagas on 277, 4S Corporation on 135, The Graduates on 109 and ISEEU Corporation on 72. On the other end of the ledger, Fuxi Legion's 222 losses lead the field, with Imperrors Children on 127, Kybernauts and Baba Yagas on 80 apiece, and Lobster Express on 72. Baba Yagas turning up on both lists is the most human detail in the whole dataset. A corporation credited with 277 kills and 80 losses in the same engagement was not spectating from a safe distance - it was in the middle of the scrum, trading hulls with whoever was in range. The engagement is filed as a gank, suggesting concentrated force brought down on a smaller set of targets, but the losses show a fight that stayed messy and mutual for hours rather than a clean execution. It is also worth noticing what those numbers do not cover. The five largest attacking organisations account for 953 kills between them - under a third of the 3,320 losses. The rest of the destruction was inflicted by a long tail of smaller groups, roaming gangs and individual pilots who found a fight that kept offering targets.
A Buzzard at 21:04, a Dramiel at 00:59
Kuharah opened with the loss of SIT LUX's Buzzard at 21:04 UTC and closed with a Dramiel belonging to Advanced Tear Harvesting V at 00:59. Both ends of a four-hour engagement, bracketed by frigates - one a covert-ops scout, the other a fast, fragile little gunboat - with an ocean of battleship wreckage in between. 3,320 losses across 235 minutes averages out to roughly fourteen ships destroyed every minute for very nearly four hours. Averages lie about how a fight actually feels. There will have been lulls, sudden spikes, minutes where a fleet got caught mid-warp and minutes where nothing died at all. But no engagement runs that long and generates that much scrap unless the people involved keep coming back for another round. Four hours is not an ambush. Four hours is a decision, repeated.
Rosanna Htcanemeb and the Long Tail
Somebody did the most damage across all of it, and in Kuharah that was Rosanna Htcanemeb, the highest-damage pilot of the engagement. In a fight measured in thousands of wrecks, being the one who contributed more than anyone else is a genuinely remarkable piece of work. Behind that headline sits the crowd. With around 3,400 pilots involved and 3,320 ships destroyed, the kill tally runs almost one-for-one with the number of people who showed up - a rough reminder that in a brawl like this, the participants and the casualties are largely the same population. Kuharah sits in Pochven, the Triglavian-held region carved out of the old empire frontiers, and it is not a system pilots drift through by accident. Everyone who was there chose to be there, and most of them left something behind.
What Six Hundred Billion Buys You
No capitals were committed to Kuharah, or at least none were lost. Whether that was restraint, an unwillingness to feed dreadnoughts into a fight this chaotic, or simply nobody having them nearby is not something the data settles. What it does show is a conflict fought entirely below the capital line, and still costing more than half a trillion ISK. That bill does not disappear. Battleship hulls, their fittings and their rigs have to be rebuilt, bought and hauled, and losses on this scale take weeks to work through for the alliances involved. Whatever the objective in Kuharah actually was, the wreckage suggests everyone paid for it. When the last Dramiel came apart at 00:59, the fight simply stopped producing kills - 3,320 entries on a killboard, no capitals among them, and a Pochven system that had spent four hours eating fleets whole.
