Heavy Fraternity Losses in Wicked Creek

A Goonswarm Federation fleet built around Ravens and Rorquals met a Fraternity Cerberus wing in GRHS-B, and the resulting exchange filled local space with wrecks. Across 325 pilots, 150 losses were tallied at a combined cost of 17.3B ISK.

The Doctrine Clash

Goonswarm brought a missile battleship doctrine, with Ravens making up the backbone. Rorquals made an unusual appearance in the Goonswarm force composition, their industrial bulk sitting alongside the missile batteries. Despite the Rorqual presence, no Rorqual wrecks were recorded among the losses. Fraternity answered with Cerberus heavy assault cruisers, a faster but lighter missile platform. Goonswarm pilots were credited with the final blow on many of the Cerberus losses, while Goonswarm's own casualties were spread across Ravens, support craft, and a pair of mining barges.

A Broader Cast

The battle drew pilots from beyond the two main alliances. Fraternity Auxiliary and Northern Coalition pilots were among those on the receiving end, while SONS of BANE and Sigma Grindset appeared alongside Goonswarm. While Fraternity bore the brunt, pilots from Fraternity Auxiliary and Northern Coalition also lost ships, and both SONS of BANE and Sigma Grindset contributed to the kill tally.

A Command Ship's Last Stand

The most expensive single loss was a Claymore command ship flown by Dragon Reckless of Fraternity, destroyed by Evil Kinevil of Goonswarm at a value of 504.9M ISK. Three Claymores were destroyed in total, including that largest single loss, adding a sharp edge to the engagement.

A Lopsided Toll

Fraternity's side took the worst of the destruction. Its Cerberus wing left a long line of wrecks behind, while Goonswarm's losses were fewer. The tally also included interdictors, logistics cruisers, a mobile cynosural inhibitor, and a mobile micro jump unit among the debris. The exchange left Fraternity with the heavier bill.
