The Astrahus Goes Down

The largest single loss was the 2.5B ISK Astrahus belonging to From Hisec with Love Coalition. Brave Collective landed the final blow on the structure, making it the most expensive single wreck in the exchange. The fight drew in pilots from Brave Collective, SONS of BANE and Out of the Blue., pitting them against From Hisec with Love Coalition as battleships and smaller support hulls filled the system. The structure was not the only thing lost; the same fight produced a steady stream of wrecked battleships.

Barghests Die in Clusters

From Hisec with Love Coalition committed a fleet built around Barghests, Tornados and Nagas. Brave Collective answered with Tempests and Scorpions, while SONS of BANE added Retributions to the mix. The Barghests fell in clusters, repeatedly coming apart under Brave Collective fire. The Tornado and Naga wings were likewise destroyed, many by SONS of BANE. Compared with the relatively cheap Tempests and Scorpions that Brave Collective lost, the material damage leaned heavily against From Hisec with Love Coalition.

A Grinding Exchange

SONS of BANE and Out of the Blue. also traded losses, joining the effort to grind down the From Hisec with Love fleet. Assault frigates, interceptors and logistics cruisers all appeared in the same fight, and no single ship type dominated the outcome. Instead, the engagement became a continuous exchange of fire in which the side flying the more expensive hulls simply had more to lose. From Hisec with Love Coalition was down an Astrahus and a large portion of its battleship line, while the opposing side had paid a smaller material bill.
