The Barghests Burn

C C P Alliance's battleship formation in AR-5SY paid a heavy price. Five Barghests were destroyed in quick succession, including a 5.3B ISK hull piloted by GM Telomer, which was brought down by blackjpal of Fraternity. Alongside the battleships, a Scimitar logistics cruiser fell to Fraternity, and a Khizriel was also destroyed in the fighting.

A Three-Sided Exchange

The fight drew in several groups. Fraternity's Cyclone Fleet Issues and Flycatchers faced both C C P Alliance's Barghests and a mixed force from Beyond the Breach and Nisuwa Cartel fielding Harbinger Navy Issues and Guardians. Losses were traded across all sides, with Fraternity losing a Typhoon and an Omen Navy Issue while Beyond the Breach and Space Oddities Join Us also lost Harbinger Navy Issues in the exchange.

A Costly Skirmish

C C P Alliance shouldered the heaviest material losses of the engagement, while Fraternity and the smaller groups suffered far less damage. The engagement was brief but destructive, and the loss of the Barghests marked its cost.
