Dreadnoughts Burn in Delve

A Lopsided Capital Exchange

Dracarys and Wings Freedom brought Maelstroms, Typhoons and Revelation dreadnoughts to the field, while The Initiative and Fraternity answered with Apocalypse battleships, Typhoons and a scattering of Ibis corvettes. As the fighting intensified, capital ships on both sides traded blows. The Initiative lost a painful string of Phoenix, Moros and Revelation hulls, while Dracarys lost dreadnoughts of its own. The exchange left the battlefield littered with capital wrecks, and the weight of those losses fell heavily on The Initiative.

A Standout Loss

The most expensive single wreck was a 4.7B ISK Revelation flown by Gaodafoss of Dracarys. It was destroyed by GD vision of The Initiative, a pilot who also lost a Revelation in the same battle. That kill could not offset the broader trend, as The Initiative's capital fleet continued to bleed hulls throughout the engagement.

A Relentless Subcapital Fight

Beyond the capital exchange, the subcapital fighting was relentless. Maelstroms, Typhoons, Apocalypses and Megathrons traded fire across the grid, and wrecks of interceptors, destroyers and logistics cruisers accumulated as the battle wore on. The Initiative's battleship line absorbed heavy punishment, while Fraternity and Wings Freedom also left wrecks behind. Smaller groups such as Can i bring my Drake... and Weapons Of Mass Production were drawn into the chaos, adding to the tangle of wreckage. The scale of the capital losses overshadowed everything else, but the subcapital churn ensured that no pilot was safe.
