Dreadnoughts on Both Sides
Escalate., Dread and Buried, and Pandemic Legion formed one side, fielding Revelation Navy Issues and Zirnitras. Opposite them, LowSechnaya Sholupen and Parallaxis Alliance brought Leshaks, Apocalypses, and their own Zirnitras. Multiple alliances and hull types were present throughout the engagement.
The Capital Toll
The destruction spread across nearly every dreadnought family. Zirnitras, Phoenixes, Naglfars, Revelations, and a Moros Navy Issue were all lost, along with several force auxiliaries. LowSechnaya Sholupen absorbed much of the damage, while White Sky, Parallaxis Alliance, and Dread and Buried also left hulls behind.
A Crowded Killzone
A broad mix of groups took part in the fighting. Funny Squad, Macabric Trick, Octopus Vulgaris, and Down to Clown all appeared, some landing final blows and others losing hulls. Even NullSechnaya Sholupen delivered a finishing blow. The result was a chaotic engagement where a pilot could be finished by a group whose name was nearly identical to their own.
A Zirnitra Worth Watching
The most expensive single loss was a 7.9B ISK Zirnitra flown by GOOOOOD of LowSechnaya Sholupen. The final blow came from TaipanSan of NullSechnaya Sholupen, a separate alliance whose name is a near mirror of the victim's. That one wreck captured the strange shape of the fight, where even the finishing touches came from unexpected directions. For pilots on both sides, the loss of a single dreadnought was no small matter; here, it was just the largest item in a long bill.
