An Astrahus valued at 1.7 billion ISK was destroyed in J125741 as a 23-pilot engagement closed around the structure and left WiW Holdings with a costly loss. The final blow came from BIGDOG 92 flying a Drekavac, after sustained pressure from a mixed attacking force in Really Power Blob. Alliance.

THE CATCH

What began as a localized engagement in wormhole space ended with a structure burning down under concentrated fire. The Astrahus, fielded by WiW Holdings, was outnumbered in a fight that brought 23 participants into the system and gave the attackers room to apply steady damage until the structure could no longer hold.

THE PRESSURE

The attacking side was led by Really Power Blob. Alliance, with 14 attackers credited on the loss. Drekavacs appear to have done much of the heavy lifting, with several pilots piling on significant damage before the final shot landed. BIGDOG 92 secured the destruction in a Drekavac, while allied ships including another Drekavac and an Eos helped keep the target under constant pressure.

THE COLLAPSE

The Astrahus did not go quietly. Its fitted Standup Cloning Center I was destroyed, while the Astrahus Upwell Quantum Core was among the items that dropped from the wreckage, underscoring the scale of what was lost. Of the 1.7 billion ISK tied to the ship and fittings, 1.1 billion ISK was destroyed outright and 598.1 million ISK was recovered as drops.

THE CONSEQUENCE

For WiW Holdings, the loss of an Astrahus in J125741 is more than a single wreck on a quiet grid. Even without a wider campaign narrative attached, the destruction of a citadel in wormhole space is a serious setback and a reminder of how quickly control can slip once a structure is isolated and the attackers commit to the kill.

In between, the system swallowed 581 losses and roughly 1.77 trillion ISK, and when the shooting finally stopped, one side was still out there sweeping the grid for pods.
