The Fleets Converge
No Vacancies brought Nighthawk command ships, Vultures and Scorpion Navy Issues to the field. Mercenaires Sans Frontieres and their partners answered with Lokis, Rapiers and Bhaalgorns, while Blue Loot Not Included, D E L I R I U M and Seriously Suspicious formed around Nighthawks, Basilisks and Tengus. Other pilots from URSA. and High Bear Nation were also present, adding their own weight to the subcapital line.
A Grinding Subcapital Trade
The opening losses fell on strategic cruisers and a recon ship before Basilisks and command ships began to drop. Nighthawk command ships were lost across several alliances, while strategic cruisers and recon ships added to the toll. The fight chewed through shield command ships and logistics cruisers, with no single group escaping the early exchange unscathed.
Dreadnoughts Begin to Fall
The escalation came when a Phoenix Navy Issue from Mercenaires Sans Frontieres was destroyed, followed shortly by another Phoenix Navy Issue belonging to 33 Year Old Men Rage Rolling On A Friday Night. No Vacancies pilots were credited with the final blows on both dreadnoughts, marking the shift from subcapital duels to capital losses.
A Lif Goes Down
The most expensive loss of the engagement was the Lif force auxiliary flown by Cyrus Kurush of Mercenaires Sans Frontieres, brought down by Poiuyt20 Fliba of No Vacancies. The Lif capped the capital losses, leaving Mercenaires Sans Frontieres with the largest share of the destruction, though the cost spread across every group in the fight.
