Six Days in Etherium Reach: A Grinding Stalemate

After roughly six days, Deepwater Hooligans still face ihub defense contests in 2G-VDP, BY-7PY and NK-VTL, and the attackers are hovering near the same 40-point contest score. The map around them has done the only moving that mattered: the contested footprint shrank from eleven systems to three, and the offensive has narrowed into a familiar, exhausted shape.

Contested systems

  • 2G-VDP
  • BY-7PY
  • NK-VTL

Alliances involved

  • Deepwater Hooligans

The Disappearing Battlefield

The observation record opens with eleven systems under contest, swells to thirteen on the third day without any visible breakthrough, and then sheds names. By 24 October the active list was down to 2G-VDP and J7M-3W; now it sits at three systems. BY-7PY appears only in the final snapshot, while NK-VTL had also featured in earlier observations on 21 and 22 October. Systems like 3G-LFX, 4LJ6-Q, 8KE-YS and MF-PGF have vanished from the timers, along with others. The record cannot say whether they were defended successfully or simply abandoned, but they are gone from the active war.

The 40-Point Ceiling

Across every observation the attacker score rarely strayed from 40, brushing 44 once before falling back to 38 or 40. The defender score has stayed at 57 or higher throughout, and in all but one observation it was 60 or above. That is contest progress, not sovereignty transfer, and no ihub has changed hands across the entire period. Attacker scores moved only within a narrow band while the defender score stayed well above it.

The Defensive Offensive

The campaign-level phase still reads as defensive, yet the front's momentum label now says offensive for Deepwater Hooligans. The defender's score sits at 60, the attackers at 40. If the attackers cannot move that number, offensive is just a word on a dashboard.

Shrinking Front, Same Score: Deepwater Hooligans' Defensive Grind

The Etherium Reach campaign has narrowed from eleven contested systems to two in under a week, yet the contest scoreboard refuses to move: attackers sit at 40, defenders at 60. Deepwater Hooligans have not lost sovereignty anywhere, and the two remaining campaigns are infrastructure hub defenses in BY-7PY and NK-VTL, with no sovereignty changes recorded.

The Offensive That Paced Itself Into a Corner

For 133 hours, a low-intensity sovereignty campaign has flickered across Etherium Reach like a bad connection. Deepwater Hooligans, the defenders, have watched the contested footprint swell to thirteen systems and shrink to one - all without a single sovereignty transfer, and with the attacker's score hovering around 40 out of 100 against the defender's 60 as of the latest observation. The contested footprint expanded and contracted repeatedly across fourteen observations, but the pressure never turned into a breakthrough. Momentum readings shifted between steady, cooling, and escalating, never settling into a sustained push. The campaign has been a grinding stalemate rather than a breakthrough.

A Six-Day Swell Collapses to Two Systems: Deepwater Hooligans Hold the Line in Etherium Reach

For roughly six days the contested systems of Etherium Reach have been counted, and the count has told a story of pressure without progress. At its widest, the front sprawled across thirteen systems. Now it has contracted to two - 2G-VDP and J7M-3W - both still flying under Deepwater Hooligans sovereignty, both still marked for infrastructure-hub defense, and both still stubbornly refusing to change hands.

Seven IHUBS, Zero Transfers: Deepwater Hooligans Hold a Stalemate in Etherium Reach

For five days and change, the sovereignty map of Etherium Reach has been doing something rare: staying exactly where it was. Deepwater Hooligans, the defender, is fighting off infrastructure-hub contests in seven systems, and the attacker-defender score has been stuck at 40/60 for most of that time. That isn't a conquest; it's a trench line.
