Battleships and Destroyers: A Fight of Two Halves in LW-YEW

The engagement in LW-YEW was not one fight but two. First came a bruising exchange of battleships and logistics between Brotherhood of Spacers and Deepwater Hooligans. Then, as the evening wore on, Sigma Grindset's destroyer swarm became the primary source of wrecks. Combined destruction reached 30.8B ISK.

The Expensive Core

Brotherhood of Spacers took the worst of the opening blows. Their Oneiros logistics cruisers were lost one after another, alongside a string of Typhoon Fleet Issue battleship losses. A Vindicator flown by Crawdaddy became the fight's most expensive single loss at 2.1B ISK, destroyed by Shiny Diamond of Deepwater Hooligans. Deepwater Hooligans did not escape cleanly either; they lost several Machariels and a Zarmazd as Brotherhood of Spacers pilots fought back.

The Destroyer Wave

Later in the engagement, the wrecks changed character. Sigma Grindset's Thrasher Fleet Issue destroyers and Kirin attack battlecruisers appeared in numbers, and Brotherhood of Spacers pilots dismantled them methodically. Individually these losses were modest, but the sheer volume of Sigma Grindset wrecks showed how one-sided the exchange had become. Sigma Grindset managed a few kills in return, including a Retribution, but the imbalance was stark.

A Late Interruption

A single Pacifier belonging to croissant enjoyers club was destroyed by Brave Collective. The loss was a minor footnote to the larger engagement, but a reminder that not every loss on a busy day belongs to the main event.

Five Systems in Contest, No Sovereignty Lost: Perrigen Falls' Slow-Motion Standoff

Over the past week, the contested footprint in Perrigen Falls has grown from a single infrastructure hub timer in 1A8-6G to a five-system front spread across the space of Celestial Palace. and STAKAN UNIVERSE. Yet that expansion has done little to shift actual control. Attacker pressure, measured across all active campaigns, has fallen from a peak of 54 out of 100 to 35, while defenders hold a combined average of 66. No sovereignty has changed hands. The result is a campaign defined less by breakthrough than by endurance - a widening series of prods that have so far failed to move the needle.
