The Week the Front Doubled, Then Drained
The record opens on 2026-09-28 with a lone contested system, OBV-YC, followed by E-WMT7 as the sole tracked system on 2026-10-01. Then the picture widened fast. By 2026-10-02 the tracked list had jumped to five systems and then six within a couple of hours, taking in 0FG-KS, EF-QZK, F-5WYK, PA-ALN and FLK-LJ alongside E-WMT7. Momentum was marked as escalating. The escalation did not hold. The list dropped back to five on 2026-10-03, then four, then three on 2026-10-04, and by the observation that evening only FLK-LJ remained. Notably, the systems carrying the contest now are not the ones it opened on. Pressure arrived across a cluster of systems and then had nowhere to sit.
One System, One Ihub, No Breakthrough
What is left is FLK-LJ, recorded as an ihub defense, at Low intensity and with the momentum reading Defensive. That is the shape of a contest that is still live but is not converting: pressure continues, activity continues, and nothing follows from it. No sovereignty changes have been recorded, and nothing has been lost or gained in the tracked systems. For STAKAN UNIVERSE the task in a single-system fight over an ihub is unglamorous and simple, which is to keep turning up.
Eight Observations, Barely a Twitch
Across all eight snapshots the balance between the two sides barely moved. The attackers held a losing position throughout, and one reading on 2026-10-04 tilted briefly further against them before reverting within the hour. There is no ratchet in either direction, no creeping gain, no slow collapse. What Perrigen Falls has produced is a grind with no leverage attached to it.
What a Flare-Up Leaves Behind
The widening earlier in October is the useful part of the record. It shows that pressure in this region can reach several systems at once, at least for a day or two, and that it can do so quickly. It also shows that reaching systems and holding them are separate problems. STAKAN UNIVERSE's sovereignty across the tracked systems is intact, the campaign has narrowed to a single residual front in FLK-LJ, and whether that front settles into a slow burn or flares again is not something the current record settles.
