Deepwater Hooligans Face Five-System Front as Regional Campaign Widens to Seven

The contested footprint in The Kalevala Expanse has grown from a pair of systems to seven in under a week, and no sovereignty has changed hands. Deepwater Hooligans are holding the heaviest front, while The Skeleton Crew and Wreckflix and chill each defend a single system.

Contested systems

  • A-YB15
  • AU2V-J
  • BM-VYZ
  • D-6PKO
  • ND-GL4
  • QZX-L9
  • SY-0AM

From Border Skirmish to Seven-System Front

At the first observation on 13 October, the campaign touched two systems, BM-VYZ and L-TLFU. A few hours later it had contracted to just BM-VYZ, then expanded again to include ND-GL4. The real widening came between 14 and 18 October, when the contested list jumped to six systems: AU2V-J, BM-VYZ, D-6PKO, ND-GL4, QZX-L9, SY-0AM. By the most recent observation, A-YB15 had been added, bringing the total to seven. All seven systems are recorded as ihub defense events.

Deepwater Hooligans Hold the Largest Share of Contested Systems

The three defending groups are not spread evenly. Deepwater Hooligans are defending five of the seven systems, a front that has been tracked for 32 hours and is rated high intensity. The Skeleton Crew and Wreckflix and chill each hold a single system, both at low intensity, with their fronts tracked for 53 and 38 hours respectively. That concentration leaves Deepwater Hooligans holding the largest share of contested systems.

Pressure Rises, But the Line Holds

Attacker pressure has not stayed static. An early rise in contest progress has not resulted in lost systems. Across all seven systems, the defensive side still holds the stronger position, and the recorded momentum remains defensive rather than offensive.

Stalemate in the Kalevala Expanse: A Fluctuating Front

The Kalevala Expanse has become a study in stubbornness. For over five days, the region's defenders - Deepwater Hooligans, PUT THE FRIES IN THE BAG, and The Skeleton Crew - have maintained their hold as the contested footprint expanded and contracted. The attacker's score has not budged from 40 out of 100, a number that has remained unchanged through every observation. Four systems remain contested: 1S-SU1, A-YB15, F48K-D, and UDVW-O, all under ihub defense timers.

No Breakthrough: The Kalevala Expanse's Ten-System Standoff

Across eight observations over roughly six days, the ihub timers across the Kalevala Expanse have multiplied. What began as a four-system skirmish has widened into a ten-system defensive front, with Deepwater Hooligans, PUT THE FRIES IN THE BAG, and The Skeleton Crew facing an attack stuck at 40 out of 100 and defenders holding at 60. The result is a grinding stalemate with no system changing hands.

The Fries Remain in the Bag: A Kalevala Expanse Defense Refuses to Move

Across seven observations spanning roughly five days, the sovereignty contest in The Kalevala Expanse has been a study in immobility. The contested footprint has shifted from four systems to five and back down to two, but the attacker's contest score has never moved from 40 and the defenders have never moved from 60. No sovereignty has changed hands. The campaign has narrowed to two ihub defense timers in A-YB15 and UDVW-O, and the pressure is moderate, defensive, and thoroughly stuck.

The Fries Stay in the Bag: Stalemate Grinds On in The Kalevala Expanse

After days of observation, the contested systems in The Kalevala Expanse show no winner - only a stubborn scoreboard. Defenders Deepwater Hooligans and PUT THE FRIES IN THE BAG have held a shifting front that currently spans three systems without a single sovereignty transfer, while attacker pressure has remained parked at 40 out of 100 across every observation. The contest has moved through seven systems, yet the sovereignty needle has not twitched. It is a stalemate defined less by dramatic swings than by immobility.
